Northern Elite Showcase Camp

Who: 2017 - 2019 High School Graduates
Cost | No Hotel: $175
Cost | One Night Hotel: $200

Camp Discounts: MSU will offer the following discounts to all camps/clinics offered by the Department of Athletics. Discounts only apply toward registration fees. Discounted registrations must be complete via hardcopy. Online registrations cannot be discounted. Only one discount can be applied per camp.

  3. Family Discount - Applies Only To Dependents / Siblings Attending the Same Camp

  5. Multiple Session - 25% discount for same sport only (boy’s and girls’ basketball are considered different sports).
 

Northern Elite Showcase Camp
High School Sophomores - Seniors (2017-2019 Graduates)

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in both a showcase and game setting in front of college coaches from across the region.

Camp Features:

  • 60 times
  • On Field Batting Practice
  • Ground Balls w/ throws across diamond velocities recorded
  • Outfield fly balls w/throws to 3B velocities recorded
  • Catchers pop times
  • Live Games
  • Results will be sent to each athlete.

Each Player Will Receive: T-Shirt, 2 Lunches, Campus & Facility Tour

Equipment: Players should bring adequate baseball gear for two days: cleats, hat, glove, catchers gears (if applicable), belt, socks, spikes, etc… Balls, bats, and other gear will be provided.

Camp Overview: Participants that will be staying overnight will be provided a hotel room with roommates for the nights of Thursday, Aug. 3rd and Friday, Aug. 4th.

Lunches will be provided for all campers on Aug. 4th and 5th.

A full refund will be issued to any participant that is unable to attend by July 22nd and those who miss due to Central Plains Regional.

Game Format: Participants will be split into different teams. All teams will be broken down evenly based on positional needs for each team.

  • Games will have 1.5 hour time limit. There will be no innings limit, only time.
  • Innings will consist of 5 hitters.
  • If the batter walks or gets hit by a pitch, they will be given the option to keep hitting and a runner will be sent to first base.
  • There will be no score kept during the games. We are trying to ensure that each participant has the opportunity to showcase their skills during the games both offensively and defensively.

Schedule: Itinerary will be sent out a week in advance.

Housing: All overnight participants will be housed at The Grand International. For rooming reservations please email Coach Eul or Coach Arntson.

Colleges In Attendance: Minot State, North Dakota State, South Dakota State, Jamestown College, Miles City, Williston State, Dakota State, Bottineau, MSU Billings, Dawson. Various other Schools from the region including NSIC schools
